Position Description :
This is a full-time position in Raleigh, NC and you will be a key player in maintaining and enhancing the client s IT infrastructure, with a specific focus on ensuring robust cybersecurity defenses.
This role involves a blend of technical skills, planning, and an initiative-taking approach to managing both physical and digital infrastructures in a dynamic legal environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms and cybersecurity protocols, and a keen understanding of the unique security challenges faced. This role reports to the Director of Information Technology.
Responsibilities
Implement, and maintain the client s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for infrastructure and cyber-security related services.
Create and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect sensitive legal data in accordance with recognized information security frameworks.
Manage security solutions such as firewalls, endpoint protection, threat detection and response platforms.
Working alongside external service providers to regularly monitor network and system logs for unusual or suspicious activity.
Staying abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends and threats, particularly those relevant to the legal sector.
Oversee a robust data backup, data protection and disaster recovery plan.
Collaborate with IT team members on various projects, providing support for infrastructure and cybersecurity related activity.
Documenting procedures for the Customer Support team
Drive knowledge and best practice sharing to the Support Services team as part of project delivery and change management activities.
Function as an escalation point for application and device Incident and Problem Tickets.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, , and cybersecurity tools and practices.
Minimum 3 years proven experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity roles.
Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 cloud services, with advanced security capabilities advantageous.
Experience of managing and supporting a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
Experience within the Legal Sector desirable.
Professional certifications, for example, CYSA , SSCP, SEC , CCNA are advantageous.
Initiative-taking and adaptive to a rapidly changing technological environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to professionally interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and with consultants and vendors.
